    Hi pals!
As mothers we always care for our baby no matter how they are as they are delicate to us. But how does it feel when your baby suffers from any disorder or birth defects which really make us sad. Usually birth disorder occurs due to celexa which is also known as citalopram. This is a type of antidepressant medication which women take during pregnancy. The celexa birth defects may lead to various health problems for the baby. It may result in birth defects, cranial and brain defects. This is due to the early formation of skull which reduces the space for proper growth of the brain. The persistent pulmonary hypertension is another important defect which occurs during the third trimester of pregnancy. Due to this problem the circulatory system of the baby does not adapt to conditions outside the womb of the mother. Here the blood flows away from the lungs and leads to breathing problem of the baby. The other common defects are clubfoot, cleft lip or cleft palate, abdominal and heart defects, and anal atresia.

The intake of celexa during pregnancy leads to effects which are three to six times greater in the baby than a mother who has not taken the celexa medication. It is always advisable that the mother does not intake any kind of drugs or medication which may lead to birth defects of the newborn.
